I’ve been experimenting with updating/replacing cells, using both singular and globally, an old logo with a new logo, it works to some degree. I did an update on the old cell prior to replacing with the new cell. Right now even though both were created with a similar insertion point, the new cell is not placed as expected, in the old cells location. When attempting to do the replace globally it simply didn't work on a test set of drawings in a seperate folder.

Do you have an example that I can use for troubleshooting? Perhaps, just create a new file and place a copy of cell that exhibits the issue with the insertion point. Right now, it is behaving as it should be so I'd appreciate if you send me a copy of your files that I can investigate further using v8i and CE? I understand about the client propriety issues and I am not able to duplicate the issue with using my files.
