In microstation connect edition, when placing a reference file, how do you show the handles for manipulation, can do it in V8i but can't fathom how to do it in Connect edition?
that doesn't work either, not that you need that on anyway, in microstation v8i you don't need that for the handles to appear, you just need to ensure it is in presentation mode before you insert the reference
Microstation CONNECT - 10.17.2.61
ORD - 2021 R1 10.10.1.3
ORD 2022 R1.1 - 10.11.3.2
ORD 2022 R3 - 10.12.2.4
Microstation v8i SS 10 - 08.11.09.919
Power InRoads v8i - 08.11.09.615
ProjectWise - 10.0.3.453
first - the reference needs to be clipped, second - the hilite mode needs to be set to something other than "none", third - select the reference file in the reference file dialog and you should then see the reference with the clipped boundary, fourth - select the clipped boundary, once you do this, the handles should appear (you need to make sure that the disable handles is not selected in the element selection dialog).

Yeah I can confirm this is it. Handles will show once this is done. Thanks Tim.

I agree with the other steps, but this is incorrect as handles appear perfectly well with 'None' enabled as the Hilite Mode (or is this a CONNECT edition requirement only)?
Doesn't work on Connect unless something other than none is selected.
