Microstation SS10/CONNECT, key in "Change dimension view 1" does not work anymore.

I have this key-in added to CONNECT U15 and it works fine. Not sure why it would not work in v8i SS10.

What do you mean you "added" the key-in to CONNECT?  maybe I'm missing something but I thought key-in's were just part of the Microstation software.  

I meant to say I added the key-in to a button group within the ribbon so users do not need to type in the key-in browser. You are not missing anything. The key-in should work in SS10. I opened the key-in browser and started typing the command and the browser auto-filled as I was typing each word so I knew it was valid. The only other thing I can suggest is to make sure your spelling and format were correct (no extra spaces or characters). You can also expand the key-in browser to see all of the categories available. Scroll down the far left column and select "Change" next column select "dimension" next column select "view" finally add a "1" to the end of the string and hit run.

Ok, yes I tried that.  No good.  Perhaps my workspace is messed up.  I get all my files from MDOT for the workspace so they must have done something that broke it.  

it worked for me  in ss10 but only  on dimensions that I used " view" as the dimension setting then after I rotated the view  and used the keyin  " change dimension view 1" I had to choose each dimension  unfortunately it didnt work with the place notes which is what I always need to change.. I found a trick for that  place a piece of text in the new rotated view now if you inspect it it will give you the view angle angle rotation  then I select my  bad place notes and  rotate about the arrow tip with the new known angle.. the only  other way is to edit copy and  put new note and paste the text but then you have to delete the old leader.. there needs to be a better way to change  dims and  place notes when the view rotation of model space needs to change and old text , dims and notes need to change  or update... I dont think view independant  is the way either.. but i havent tried it..
