Hello,
I am trying to upload some custom made icons into my Microstation Powerdraft, however they are not displaying in my ribbon.
Lets say I'm trying to add this Panda as an icon.
I have imported the Panda icon into my current project.
However when I select the Panda and hit the 'OK' button...
The Panda icon does not appear, and of course when I hit 'Apply', the button is there but the Panda icon is not.
The Happy and Sad face icons are inbuilt icons and not custom made.
Could I please have some help with this issue? Or be redirected to a thread that has solved this issue previously?
Thanks!
I suggest not using .bmp for icons as they do not scale correctly with the new ribbon which as I understand it works from the windows API. Try converting your bmp to a ico file this can be done free online. I've had pretty good luck with this one. (https://icoconvert.com/) the ico file contains your icon with multiple standard px sizes and should scale up/down while looking sharp. Good luck!

That's exactly what we did, works great.
So I managed to get to this stage,
I imported via ico this time. However when I get to trying to use it as an actual icon, it's still 'blank'.
I click on the Panda and select 'OK'.
Unfortunately, it's still blank, any idea why?
Thanks for your reply!

Could be a problem with icon size. Did you create an .ico file with multiple image sizes as Grant Wood suggested?
.ico

This would be my guess, I nearly always start with a 48x48 .png and I create them in batches in a range of sizes.
It also appears you might have a tab or space in front of the icon name where you typed it into the ribbon? If so that will mess things up for sure. You might just need to fix that.
Yea, I'm using the site Grant has kindly shared.
I select all the sizes possible for one icon and select 'Convert ICO'. By any chance would you know if that's correct?
