What´s the difference between Text and "Place Note-- Callout" ?

Years ago, there was a version of Fence Stretch that also allowed for a "Scale Stretch" and a "Rotate Stretch". That was fantastic for exactly that sort of thing. Unfortunately, it disappeared, never to be seen again. A lot of people don't even remember it. I didn't use it often, but it was the perfect tool for rotating the text of a note while leaving the terminator end alone.

You know, there is an oddity with the note. You cannot rotate the text and in-line leader independent of the leader. However, if you use the Delete Element tool and select the text, the text & in-line leader are deleted, but the leader remains. You need to delete that separately (unless you use graphic group lock). One would expect all the elements of the note would delete by selecting any part of it. So while they are associated in one manner, they are not in another. That makes it a very odd element.
