MS CE U16.
Hi.
The tools "Hatch Area", "CrossHatch Area" and "Pattern Area" have the checkbox "Snappable" in its Tool Settings.
What happens if I create a Hatch and that checkbox is unchecked?
Is there any way to put the pattern Snappable?
If "Associative Boundary" is disabled then the pattern is included in the same Shape (or new Shape).
If I go to the properties pallette and I change the Snappable property then it is just for the boundary of the Shape, not its hatch.
If "Associative Boundary" is enabled then it creates an Associative Region.
If I go to the properties pallete and I select the "Associative Region" and change Snappable property to "Snappable" or "Not Snappable", there is no changes. This property "Snappable" in the "Associative Region" is stupid because it does not participate. It participates just the Shape with its property (Snappable)
Thanks in advance.
Solved.
Due to "Snappable" is also a pattern parameter, in case we disabled "Snappable" when we created the pattern, then we can edit from the Tool Settings window, enabling this time "Snappable (Associative Boundary must be disabled).
Another similar way is opening the "Change Pattern" tool but you have to enable (checkbox) Snappable before from the Tool Settings.
