Hi,I hope I am asking this question in the right place.I am attempting to use saved views and clip volumes to show information for some complex connections for a project I am working on.I want to show the same view twice, but with some parts hidden in one of the views, but not in the other.See attached screenshot to clarify. In other software like REVIT it is simple to do a "Hide in view" command, I can't seem to find anything similar for microstation. To create the drawing as attached I create a copy of the Model with the same clip volume and saved view, then hid the parts I wanted to hide. This works great for a nice drawing, but if I make any changes to the connection I will need to update each copy of the model. Please assist.Cheers,MichaelPDF
Hi Michael,
while MicroStation hasn't got an Hide in View equivalent yet, maybe you could try using Display Rules and item types? If you tag your parts with Item types you could then setup a rule to hide the desired ones and save this into a display style.
