Windows 11 Compatibility ?

Question

Windows 11 upgrade option popped up on my machine this morning. 
 What's the official line on this? Wait for MSCE 16.2 or 16.3?

Hi dominic SEAH, 
 Thank you for your post. As stated by other users and colleagues in this thread, MicroStation CONNECT is not currently certified to run on Windows 11 - although there are plans for certification in the future, an exact version/release cannot be guaranteed at this time. I would advise you withhold your OS upgrade until a certified version of MicroStation CONNECT is commercially available. Until this time, utilizing MicroStation CONNECT in a Windows 11 environment is at your own risk. Cheers! Jayson P.

Hello, 
 To follow up with what my colleague Jayson has answered, here is an official response from our colleagues in Development: 
 "We are currently working on certifying the next commercial release of MicroStation, targeted for Q2/2022, with Windows 11." 
 
 Please note that older versions of MicroStation will not be certified to run with Windows 11.
