When using a dimension style provided to us, it seems that MicroStation is not reducing the fractions. The accuracy is set to 1/16 and the Retain Fractional Accuracy is off. When we create a new dimension between two referenced elements that are 1/2" apart, the dimension shows 8/16". We noticed that if we draw two lines 1/2" apart and add a dimension to that, it shows correctly as 1/2" in the dimension.
Has anyone noticed this behavior when dimensioning elements from a reference? We've tried to check/uncheck the fractional accuracy, but the same behavior persists.
Thanks,Ken

what happens if you open the referenced file directly and dimension the lines ?

When you open the reference, it shows correctly at 1/2". It seems only when referenced it doesn't reduce.
Just another of a zillion bugs.
