I am Powerdraft-user
In a letter form Bentley it says that they will be quitting Powerdraft and the Powerdraft-users can switch to Micostation with out any cost. Can someone tell me when I can do this and how?

This is true but also not true
From a Bentley point of view - MicroStation (MS) Select is twice the cost of PowerDraft (PD)
TRUE - you can upgrade for free. you get 1 x PD = 1 x MS for the software only
However..... PD will be increased by 25% so where it was £686 it will now n £732... so it is not free..
PLUS.... For each MS your Select costs will be £1197 rather than £586 (£732)
If you have 5 x PD today
5 x £586 = £2930 per year
next renewal it will be
5 x £732 = £3662.5 per year
BUT
5 x MS = £5985 per year
So if you do the maths it is NOT free
