Autocad has a new feature called Select Similar. The way it works is the user selects an element and then selects the option:select similar. This builds a selection set of all elements that share the same attributes: Level, cell name, etc.
What I would like is to pick an element and then select all similar elements on the same level or with same attributes, etc. With Power Selector I have to pick the element, then unselect the level or attributes in Power Selector and reselect the level and attributes in Power Selector to build a selection set of all elements with those attributes. Is there a way to make Power Selector select all elements that have the attributes of the selected element without having to unselect and reselect the attributes?
I am using Power Draft v8i
You have to use "select by" function in the Menu-bar.

Use the Tools->Set Select By From Element option. You are prompted to select the element you want to use for your critieria. See attached pic.
