I've added a URL link to a DGN element. The link is functional, but I'm puzzled about the URL link Link Name and Address. The screenshot below shows MicroStation's Properties of the DGN element having a DgnLink that stores a URL...
The HTTP Address is valid. When I select the link I can pop my web browser at the page specified by the URL.
It's the Link Name that I don't understand. By default, Link Name shows the URL. I want to change it to something human-friendly. However, when I change that field to, say, AreaAnnotator, two things happen...
What's going on?
Bug 1028432 has been filed against this issue. Thanks for Reporting.

It is not. There are bugs in CONNECT from SS3 which were resolved in SS4 hence why I had to report same bug for SS3 and CONNECT. Also all ideas which were registered for EAP were ignored after release as if CE is new product. Our work as beta testers is not appreciated. Most likely need to report this issue with URL again.

Believe it is. Hence the enormous amount of Bugs.

All previous issues are lost even if were reported in Connect EAP. I had to report same issue at least 3 times for v8i,EAP and then in CE as each time reference to old change request was lost as if Microstation CE is new product form scratch.
I have not reported it, in this version (nor CE). My last report was V8i.
WRT the other occurrence. I've just noted that this appears to now be a problem with changing screens and their respective resolutions.I have raised this with Bentley, and a workaround is in place, but the issues affected are getting worse. No real answer to this one yet. I suspect Bentley need to take a closer look at their programmers.
