After uninstalling Powerdraft CE 14 German VBA projects no longer load in Microstation 16.1, neither automatically as set nor manually.
The following error message is displayed (German):
Any ideas what I have to reinstall?
Run the repair of Microstation installation. One of not so nice features of VBA as it is not part of main program and may or may not work. Some Windows updates may also break VBA for application time to time. Hassle free upgrade from Powerdraft to Microstation? Hope you configured entitlments and blocked Powerdraft so won't get any surprise later.
It all worked fine until I uninstalled Powerdraft... restarting the Computer didn't change the behaviour. Will run repair now and get back.
There's a grace period of two quarters - the one during which I upgrade and the subsequent one.
Thank you. Just tried to no avail:

Avoid what? Reinstall will not lose any settings because workspace and personal.dgnlib is not removed on uninstall. It is typical mistake who try to reinstall Microstation when there is issue with configuration and not installation and then wonder why reinstall didn't help.
Is that a custom install path, doesn't look like a typical Bentley install path. I wonder if that would be causing the problem.
I take it you do have admin rights on that machine?
Apparently:
"The error value 0x8002801c means, Error accessing the OLE (Object Linking and Embedding) registry. You need to copy theMSCOMCT2.OCX file to c:\windows\sysWOW64 not c:\windows\system32."
You many need to run the system file checker to fix any problems you have
Run the command prompt with admin rights and enter sfc /scannow

Thanks a lot Barry, that did the trick.
Microstation now takes a bit longer to start than before but the VBAs load automatically. If any other problems arise I'll do a reinstall.
Yes, that's a custom install path set in a deployment image.
Ahh I see, that makes sense.
Glad you got it up and running.
