Good morning,I am new to the forum and I hope not to make mistakes in my communication.I accidentally deleted all elements of a MicroStation (V8) .dgn drawing and then closed the file.The compression of the file has not been done and therefore remains at the original size.I believe the elements are still present in the file.I ask the community if there is a possibility to recover the elements and how to proceed.Thank youRob
Unfortunately Microstation clears undo buffer on close so undo is no longer possible even that elements with stripped element headers are still in the file.
If you didn't reopen file then maybe undo buffer could be recovered from there.
Other option would be to try to recover orphaned entries from DGN and by luck it could have at least some copy of model. But analyzing the file most likely will take more time than to redraw it.
