Label line not showing bearing direction correctly (Connect U 16.1)

Trying to label a line in a reference file to show the bearing directions in Connect but the dimension doesn't show up correctly and there are no directions. Here are the design file settings:

Is there some new config variable in connect that you need to set so that it dimensions reference elements the same as active elements?
