Hello all!
Have a Great of new year?
When i performing project, always need to calculate Feet to meter.
because *Need to fix meter unit of master Model(Owner don't want to change to feet)
So When i drawing line in Microstation distance(Inset 3.28 feet), is it possible to Automatically convert to 1Meter?
Best Regars
Why not change the working units setting from/to feet/ meters, do your work in the units of your choice and then change it back again before returning the file to Owner? Microstation automatically converts units on the fly.
Great Idea but he usually want to check beside of me.
Max is correct. What you could do is create a dimension style which displays lengths in metre’s, or both feet and metre’s, one length above, another below.
Ah, tricky! That was one of the advantages of Covid lockdown - being able to work in isolation without over-the-shoulder surveillance.

FWIW we designed AreaAnnotator to show dual metrics...

thanks for the good suggestion
you may be able to create a keyin action string ( activated by an F Key) that enters the " 0.3048 * "and waits for you to keyin the distance or at least you can copy paste from clip board .. FYI I have not tried this yet but in theory it should work .. look up action strings in help to work it out...should save you from typing in over and over the multiply by 0.3048 factor

Why you suggest the post as the answer, when you both do not know whether it work and you even not tried it?

You just couldn't resist nit picking could you?
Why not send your negative comment as PM ?
Why are you attempting to publicly humiliate me here?
What is wrong with you?
now to justify myself:
First reason it' s a suggestion . I got an idea on how to try to help and pointed the op in a direction ie action strings in the help.
Second reason I was home on vacation not on my work pc so I could not test it without microstation
Third reason the OP didn' t state which version of Microstation for which I noticed you didn't do your usual post of " what version" without offering any help ( until they repost what version).
So my post was inspirit trying to be HELPFUL...and FYI another poster vote a positive so maybe he was able to try it.
I notice you didn't make a negative comment against Jon Summers post for suggesting using his propriety Area Annotator which doesn't do what the op asked for ie to automatically convert input from accudraw from feet to meters from input keyed in feet values distances in a meters drawing file setting.
The OP asked for converting drawing a line to meters length when inputting feet distances in accudraw not labelling or measuring.
You seem to have a grudge against me in particular and I consider nit picking to be " bullying" .
I want you to know I very much value your helpful input and help with VBA but man you can be hurtful here.
I forgive you yet again!
