Just installed Microstation Connect. When opening the software I get this error message "Error expanding variable MS_LIBRARY_PATH. Exiting." I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times with no success.
There may be some special characters in your PATH environment variable. This Wiki has some details.
Not sure what I'm looking at or suppose to be changing. The path is full of special characters.

Please read and follow the best practices: Even when I do not stick on tiny insignificant details like there is no product named "MicroStation Connect" (but MicroStation CONNECT Edition, or just MicroStation CE), it is not clear what version you use (there have been more than 20 CE versions released so far). Also, information about used Windows, version and edition, can help here.

When the message is displayed? Before workspace / workset screen is displayed or after a file is selected?

I do not see anything special on your picture, it is a standard PATH definition.

It is time wasting effort usually. When the issue is not caused by corrupted Windows or user profile, to repeat installation typically ends with the same result.
Can you create and share msdebug.txt file? It helps to understand process how configuration variables are created and evaluated, and can also help to find the place, where MS_LIBRARY_PATH variable becomes corrupted.

Hi Jan,
I am using MicroStation CONNECT Edition version: 10.16.02.34 on the last version of Windows 10. The message is displayed as soon as I try to open the software, no workspace screen is displayed. Please see attached msdebug.txt file.
Thanks,
Cole4130.msdebug.txt
It’s the apostrophe character ‘ in your User profile name. Removing this should fix your problem.
