Hi, I have a question about the Button Assignments in Microstation Connect.
My collegue wants to have it set like this:
When he presses the middle mouse button once it will start Tentative
When he presses the middle mouse button and holds it he wants to use the pan drag functionality.
When I remap the buttons there is no wat to set the "button pressed down" state.
Is there any way I can configure Microstation Connect so that it works like this?
Greetings,
Ronald
I don't know of any way to use a press & hold. Why not use the standard keybord shortcuts, like Ctrl+Left mouse for pan drag?

Hi Ronald,
Since you are assigning Tentative to the middle button you could try the following:
By doing this you can easily pan by using the Left-Right Chord.

...because a two button chord isn't always easy for everybody?

The configuration you are trying to setup is not possible. As you said there is no "Hold" property that can be used to differentiate the commands. The only modifiers that can be used are the alt, ctrl, and shift buttons.

So you could have the middle be tentative and ctrl+middle be pan.
I still use control left or DATA button hold for pan drag its old school but works and I can still use middle for tentative... Maybe you need a new fangled fancy 5 button mouse those 2 extras on the side for your thumb to use can do pan drag etc.. FYI I use chord to do fit view extended as I do that alot!
