Chilometrare una linea su Microstation V8i

Ho una linea lunga 145 km, dovrei inserire una tacca e un numero sequenziale ogni 1000 m. Come devo fare?

  • post a screen shot of what you want it to look like for the first point at 1000m and second point 200m.. this is beginning to sound like stationing or chainages, Now without seeing your dgn I imagine doing  it like this.

I would place/ draw  the first line or notch and  copy 15 times with the copy tool ( 15 number of copies)  at 1000m via the accudraw.. then I would place the first text 1000 at the first mark or notch  and use the copy increament 1000 tool there is a sneaky keyin that would let you use the pipe command  so it does it 15 times at 1000 m apart but for 15 times just as easy to do by hand and use the snap tool..

The above method only works for straight lines..

Now for complex lines the place active points along is good to locate the points then you can export the points by their xy coordinates into the export coords tool and create a csv file  for editing in excel then you can use excel to create a text column and add 1000,2000,3000 then import the data back to label the points..

to place a notch or short vertical line create a cell and use use the points tool but choose cell at 1000 m interval along the line...

If you need more or better explanation please pm me and  I'll try to help better in Italian but I'm very rusty with written Italian but I'm a fluent speaker  no dialeto. maybe with Skype...

With AutoCAD you wrote a LISP macro, but you expect MicroStation to match your requirement out-of-the box?

Here's a VBA macro that lets you place points along a line...

    place points on line

    points
