I rarely get involved with Autocad but sometimes it’s the only option if you need to insert a certain industry product, like a roof tile. The one I got now looks like it’s on a flat paper drawing. Is there any Microstation switch I have missed in the process? How can you check if a DWG is in 3D?
All DWG files are 3d. You can chose to model in the DWG as a 2d if you want but the file is 3d. However, the Paper space is 2d>When you open the DWG in MicroStation have a look atthe DWG Open Options, there is a trigger to open the file in 2d if you wanted too. If you do this you will lose the 3d rotation tools.
