Strange appearance of unmotivated diagonals on forward view elements.
How get rid of them in Display Styles dialog?

Good to know that it works now :-)

Thematic display does what the name tells ;-) It provides visual information about specific feature (like slope, height etc.), not simple visual (rendering) output.

Simply getting rid of "Thematic" did the trick. I never learnt what that is supposed to do. The elements in question are just regular solids.
Thank you guys!

Why? There are plenty of styles pre-defined to be used in views to display a model, whereas other are defined to be used in dynamic views (backward + cut + forward planes).

In such case I recommend to move your question to OpenBuildings forum. To move existing discussion to another forum, use More > Move tool to available under your original post.

I agree with Barry Lothian: Why do you use specifically this style and/or this settings? You can try to change settings like Thematic, Display Pattern Maps etc. or to use different style.
With regards,
Why do you have Thematic Display enabled on the Forward display style?
What are the geometry types of the elements which are shown triangulated?
Hi Jan,
Building Designer v8i. I must admit I'm confused about the plethora of design styles. Here is the "Cut" style.
And the "Forward"style
Glad if you can find out.
