When we create a text element we can insert a Text Field. I want to link that text field to a coordinate of another element, say the start of a line. I can accomplish that using the text editor dialog and then choosing the Fields Editor Dialog. Pick a line, then choose the property (e.g. Start Point Y-coordinate) to display...
The text element created looks like this...
It's showing the Y component of the start point of the line. The text field is terminated with the DGN model's master unit label (m). How can I remove that label? That is, I want to see just Y100.239 not Y100.239m.
m
Y100.239
Y100.239m
Does changing the 'Label Format' to 'MU' or 'SU' help ?

Perfect! Format MU shows just the master units value without any adornment.
That enabled me to complete this article about labelling XY coordinates using text fields...
