I am currently using CONNECT U 16.2 but, I have had this issue ever since I started using CONNECT Edition. At least since U15, which is the version I really started working with consistently. I have dimension styles & text styles defined in .dgnlib files.
When I place a dimension in a file using any of my pre-defined dimension styles everything works fine. If I need to edit the value of the dimension, whether it be changing the numeric value to another value or changing it to text, the text editor shows the text style as "Style (none)". We also use annotation scale so the text styles are set with text height/width at 0.01 units. Editing the dimension text as described the Font Height field in the text editor shows the height of the text in relation to the annotation scale (@ 1"=25' the height is displayed as 3.0000).
If I use the Element Properties dialog the correct styles are reported prior to & after editing the text.
While in the text editor, if I switch the text style from Style (none) to the proper text style the text will display at the 0.01 text height once I accept the input.
Why does the text editor not show the correct style in the the dialog when editing dimension text?
Has this been resolved? I'm still having the issue
Looking at the details of Bug # 661144 it has been approved for a fix in a future release but has not yet been included for the latest versions.
