I use the 'position mappings" in microstion because I am just used to doing that at this point. My problem is that when I select any of the "manipulate" tools they default to moving/scaling/rotationg rasters instead of drawing objects. How do I correct this?
I did see this older post, but I'm not sure it has a solution. I'll see if there are others.
Ah, here's one that might.
What version of Microstation are you using? Connect has over 16 releases.Also, do you know if you are using some sort of customized interface? That seems to be the source of this particular issue.

I was able to fix it by copying the manipulate application task to my user tasks in the customize menu. Not sure how that got screwed up, but everything is working now. Thx
