Hi,
I am in receipt of some old drawings from the 1990's. A lot of .dng and .i files. I have been struggling to open or convert these files so that I can even view them.
Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks,Zach
Batch conversion could do the job but you need to setup correct workspace with old fonts/linestyles so not lose something on conversion.
What exactly is the struggle?

Do you mean DGN?

what software do you have to view DGN files?
microstation
Yes, DGN! Sorry!
If you have a newer version of Microstation you can still open older .dgn files. There is no conversion necessary. As Oto stated, you may not see the correct fonts, line styles, etc unless they are part of whatever current workspace you open the files in.
The .i files should also open if they are a format recognized by Microstation.
What issues are you having with opening the files in a newer version?
