I get the above error when opening any file via Projectwise with Microstation V8i SS10 (or also with simply opening the MicroStation V8i SS10 application from my desktop).
I did install a few updates for ProjectWise and Microstation CONNECT a few days back but I cannot remember if I opened MicroStation V8i between then and these errors (so its possible these errors are from some update). I have already spent hours trying to uninstall and reinstall ProjectWise and V8i (along with deleting ProjectData and ProjectFiles data for both as well as following this forum thread: https://communities.bentley.com/products/administration/f/product-administration-forum/222304/cannot-open-v8i-files-from-projectwise-getting-lots-of-error-193-s-with-dll-s/683094 with no solution found from trying all these steps. I also posted my debug log for Microstation V8i here:

I have stumped my IT and some Bentley specialists with this, any help would be super appreciated!
I know this is almost a year old, but we had this error 193 today trying to load in our Axiom tools. about 20 minutes later it started working again, pretty sure the network guy was doing something during the day he should have done at night.
Unfortunately, the only resolution that worked was going through the uninstaller app and uninstalling EVERY Bentley application on my computer and re-downloading them back onto my computer. I'm sure there *IS* a way to fix this without doing that but I don't have time for that (I had already spent almost 2 days trying to fix it) and no one else seemed to know a resolution to this... cost vs. benefit am I right?
Hi Eamon did you manage to get this resolved? im seeing it on 2 machines.
Thanks,Lee.

I should have mentioned that PW Explorer was renamed ProjectWise Design Integration. Software Downloads offers only the CONNECT version ProjectWise Design Integration CONNECT Edition x64. You need the V8i version as well, which your IT may have available as a disk image.

What is the name of that installer?
Have you looked on the PW Forum?

Hi Jon,
Thank you for the response. The issue is that I do have PW Explorer software downloaded (the same software that I have always used and everyone in my company with the same setup uses). That file and the exact pathway does exist, I have mapped it out myself.
Also, I understand that Connect is a different product, we are in the middle of a switch to Connect from V8i but a few projects need to be finished up with V8i. I only mentioned that because I was worried that updates for Connect somehow confused projectwise or the pathway that projectwise uses to get to that DLL library.
I had reinstalled the original PW explorer I have always used yet I still get the same error.
