Hi everyone,
Could you please help to explain for my understanding about this issue:
When I change color and weight in level manager of "model" (or "drawing"), why both level and line weight not updating automatically in "sheet"?
Causing that I have to update level manager manually for "sheet". Because if I use "update level", it could also change to original color of all reference.
I am using MicroStation CONNECT Edition.
Thank you so much.
There are a number of options you can perform to ensure the level attributes are synchronized from your reference to master but here are a number of considerations.
Reference file levels do not update within master design file

Thank you, Andrew Bell,
Your advice related to update level from reference to master.
But my issue that is in one dgn file, when I update color and line weight in master model, the color and line weight in sheet is not change (same overrides mode), therefore I must update it manually in sheet accordingly, it means twice update for any element I edited.

Do you use level libraries? If so how are they defined in your workspace? Is there a variable that loads them into level manager (sort of like a reference file) or do you import your levels into the active file?
We need to know how things are defined and your workflow.

Dear mwlong,
Thank you, I have fixed and understood my issue.
Simply, Because MicroStation doesn't update level automatically from model (or drawing) to sheet, I need to update it manually on sheet as picture below:
The reason I asked the questions that I did is because I am trying to figure out how your levels are set in your file. There are configuration variables that can be set that may automatically update your levels.
