We have a issue where Microstation Connect / Topodot crashes on a Azure virtual server
Connect version 10.16.2.34, clean installationTopodot Pointcloud Engine Version 2021.1.1.1Topodot Extraction Tools Version 2021.1.0.0Azure server: Standard NV32as v4 (32 vcpus, 112 GiB memory - Windows (Windows 10 Enterprise for Virtual Desktops))
The Microstation application keeps crashing, and it seems like it's when users are trying to load points in Topodot.
Anyone with same issue?
The event viewer log says eg.

What's Topodot? Is that a Bentley Product?
Does MicroStation work fine without Topodot?
If MicroStation works fine, and Topodot is not a Bentley product, you may want to contact whoever makes Topodot about issues with their software.
You may also need to investigate how well MicroStation runs on a virtual server. I know nothing about such things, but I know that people have trouble with some of them.

Hi Brian,
The exception seems to point to Bentley License and connection Client. Have you posted your question in that forum https://communities.bentley.com/communities/other_communities/licensing_cloud_and_web_services/ ?
Make sure you provide connection client logs https://communities.bentley.com/communities/other_communities/licensing_cloud_and_web_services/w/wiki/52104/how-to-collect-and-submit-logs and also perform this test to see results communities.bentley.com/.../--run-license-health-check-manually-outside-of-connection-client
and review https://communities.bentley.com/communities/other_communities/licensing_cloud_and_web_services/w/wiki/36380/faq---connection-client and https://communities.bentley.com/communities/other_communities/licensing_cloud_and_web_services/w/wiki/58164/microsoft-azure-virtual-environments
