Can you set ONE reference file only to NOT accept Level Overrides in a master file with multiple references? I cannot seem to make this happen.I have a main sheet file - A1. It contains 3 drawings, floor plan, reflected ceiling plan and an electrical plan. Each of those references is a text file over the main floor plan file.
Can I have the floor plan file only NOT accept level overrides while the other 2 are overriden? Does that make sense?
Thanks!
I believe you can accomplish what you want. I just want to clarify you are using overrides and not by level.
With the symbology set to overrides in the level manager, select the reference file you wish to turn off the overrides for. With it selected, the levels and overrides settings will display in the level manager. In each column for the color, style, and weight, do a right mouse click (not at the header but on a specific color, style or weight). When the options appear, select the "all overrides off" option and it will turn off the overrides for that column.

I tried that, but it didn't work. I tried everything I could possibly think of...Thanks for the info!
Do they not work at all, or do they not save into the file?
It's possible that there are other factors preventing you from saving the changes to the overrides.

Can you provide some info how your Sheet file is composed i.e. how the references are attached and their settings etc..?
It would also be helpful to see some screenshots of your Level Manager to see what level overrides you have been using.
when you say it didn't work, what do you mean ? could you be more specific ? IE: The option is grayed out, or it changes, but the change does not hold, etc...
Do you see any overrides ?
