Hi all,
I think my question is not new, but I have not found the solutions yet.
I referenced an object from drawing to sheet. Then I had adjusted the color in level manager for this object in drawing, but I didn't see the level changed in sheet automatically.
Therefore, in sheet, I must update level manually.
Is there any config variable can help me to update it automatically?
I attached my file for your information: 4382.Drawing.dgn

I see black dots next to the level names: that means you've changed their attributes in the main file. As soon as you do this autmatic updates will be prevented. That only works with "virgin" references.
Hi f.mandoki.
Thank you, do you know how to fix this issue? please let me know.

Here is a keyin that should update the levels of the reference file
reference synchronize levels bylevelsymbology <reffilename.dgn>
Replace <reffilename.dgn> with the name of your reference file. If it works for your current file you can run this keyin through the Batch Process on many files to "fix" those as well.

Well, just don't change anything in the main file, revert all changes back manually or use mwlong's keyin.
Hi f.mandoki,
I think it's not possible to not change anything in the main file. at least in same file which I refer from drawing to sheet.
In AutoCAD, when I refer from model to layout, everything are updated accordingly (color, lineweight, ....).
I don't understand why it is, so I feel MicroStation is more complex than AutoCAD.
If you use Saved Views, you don’t have to worry about keyins. Any changes made in the referenced file are propagated through into your sheet file automatically.
