Is this a setting I can change?
I assume that you're using the latest release of Bentley View CONNECT Edition. What is it that you are meaning by 'time bombed'? Is it that your session of Bentley View is timing out? You might need to check that you've logged into the Connection Client ok. The following articles might assist with any issues.

May be.
Never paid attention to it.
Now View has been up for almost a day but the Client closed.
I'll have a look at it when I run into problems next time.
