When we us the Create Region command the setting "Maximum Gap" just does not work....
As there is a gap somewhere it is not possible to create a region - regardless of the value for Maximum Gap.
I am pretty shure this worked OK in older versions before Connect.
Is this still not known after seven years connect?

Can you provide some evidence of what's not working?
Try create a region in the walls with a red arrow in attached file with a maximum gap of 5 or 100 or ..... I get the message "No enclosing region found". There are gaps but they are rather small and anyhow smaller then 5.

I can only verify it don't work, tried various settings. Bug #9,742, there are so many I've quit reporting them. Sad state of affairs.
That being said, there are more than just gaps in that linework. Some are lines overlaying other lines, extra vertices, things of that nature.
For reference, they do flood in v8i ss10

I confirm it does not work in CE. The historic advantage over Autocad is now gone. Sad.
