Its Absurd thing to do (but bound by drawings standards here ) but I am unable to drop Detailing symbol in Connect edition(Update 16) which was possible in SELECT Series. Am i missing something or its an issue ?
Use the Drop Linestyle keyin. That should drop it and maintain the fields.USTN U15-17
It didn't worked. ( Message Center says : Element not valid for tool ) for both tool keyins.
your video doesn't show using the drop tool
when your in the drop tool make sure complex and cells and application is ticked.... this is a cell right?
why do you want to drop it shouldn't all the parts move together.. I would still group it later so all move together..but thats just me...

Something interesting I found. I went back and tested this today and I noticed that I cannot drop the delivered detail symbol styles. However, I CAN drop our custom detail symbol styles. I wonder what is different that allows it. This video is in update 10.15.0.74. I can also do this in update 10.17.00.209
