I'm attempting to use the Manage Configuration Dialog to add a new configuration. When I try to add a new configuration, I see this...
What is a 'valid configuration folder'? I see that message whether the folder is local or remote. All locations I've tested are normal read-write folders.
the configuration already needs to exist. The only thing you are doing with this dialog is adding it to the "picklist" for the user.

The configuration folder you select has to have a WorkSpaceSetup.cfg file in it. In my testing it was enough to have it present, it did not have to be valid.
@Kevin - hmmm what is the sense in doing that ? pointing the picklist to something that really is not valid.
I guess it is similar to the picklist for the workspace, all it needs is a *.cfg file for it to be available to select.
It's no use if you actually want to use the configuration immediately, but if you don't have a configuration finished yet but still want to start testing it you can start with a blank workspacesetup.cfg and go from there.
Also a bit of a warning that just because it lets you select it, doesn't mean it validates it, so if you copied a different config to start the new one there may be issues still.
