I have a large amount of notes for a drawing and they needed to be numbered and indented. Is it possible to do that automatically with MicroStation Connect? The only comments I've found are suggestions to use a text editor such as MS Word. I'm a long-time AutoCAD user migrating to MicroStation and perhaps I'm missing the method. It's very easy in AutoCAD. Thanks.
it saddens me to say this but the text editor in microstation is rubbish compared with autocad.. the only easy way I have ever found is to do it outside microstation..
you can do it in microstation it just is not user friendly like in word or acad... the tools are not really obvious and the bullet points numbers are not automated well I've neve been able to get it to work in v8i as it does in acad and I havent used CE enough to see if much has changed. google you tube Connect microstation text editor.. or look in bentley learn and in the help under the text editor.. but quick work around for now copy to clipboard from mstn and paste into word and format it there then copy to clipboard and past into mstn.. and modify in mstn....

While not an exact answer to your question, I proposed an Idea about Tables. Tables, like an Excel worksheet, could have automatic numbering.
Vote for this Idea!
