Leader through terminator

Does anyone know how to prevent the leader line from going through the arrow as shown above, resulting in a "squared off" appearance? There is a setting within the dimension style - Leader Through Terminator (see above), that seems to be the setting that needs to be changed, but changing it doesn't seem to do anything. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

  • I believe your issue is a result of the line weight. We usually make our leader lines weight 1 or 2 (per DOT standards) and we do not have the issue you are describing. Another setting which may help, instead of using a font go to your dimension style. On the Geometry tab you will find Terminators. For Arrowhead use Filled. Set the Width & Height to whatever matches your current size. Drop down the Symbols field and make sure that is set to Default for Arrow.
