Automate some information.
I am having some files where I need to update some information. I was just wondering if I could keep the information in excel/notepad and somehow get that changed to the ones I am looking for with some batch files…
eg.
Sheet 1. “-67101” to be replaced to “67211”
Sheet 2. “-67201” to be replaced to “67321”
Sheet 3. “-67255” to be replaced to “67351”
If this is not that simple and if I need to learn some programming language.. please guide which would be the best.
You've tagged your post with both MicroStation CONNECT and MicroStation V8i.
What is the exact version no. (e.g. v10.x.y.z) of MicroStation that you are using? Use key-in VERSION to see the version no. in the MicroStation Message Center, or Help→About MicroStation in the backstage.

Your question is rather vague. What is the information? It could be text, it could be tags, it could be something else. Attach a DGN file that includes the 'information' that you want to change.
