Hi,
I've just got a couple of questions regarding display rule patterning.
1 - Can it be used for forward view? It works well for cut view, and can be used for back view.
2 - Is there any way to set patterning cell horizontal and vertical distance?
Best regards,
Tuan Le
Thanks for providing the example design file. Looking at the Forward section it did not appear to cross the Slab element that you've drawn. When you create a section like this you always need to ensure that it actually cuts through the element that you want to section (see attached screen captures and new DGN file).

Forward Section Not Crossing Slab
Forward Section Moved So It Is Crossing The Slab
Once This Crosses The Slab You Can See The Cross Hatch Display

Hence my question: "can i use patterning with forward plane"? And by "forward"/"cut", I meant planes for clip volume:
Or another way of asking: "Can I get patterning/hatching without having the section plane cut through elements?"
I'm not sure I understand what you're wanting as an end product. When you perform a Section Callout it would need to cut the element(s) to produce output with this hatch to display like this. Can you explain why you're wanting to produce this cross hatch on the output?
An example would be a plan view where there are multiple elements at different elevation, I would like to have hatching applied to elements that pass the display rules. And that would need to be happening via the "forward" plane, because "cut" plane isn't versatile enough.
