Hi,
I've just got a couple of questions regarding display rule patterning.
1 - Can it be used for forward view? It works well for cut view, and can be used for back view.
2 - Is there any way to set patterning cell horizontal and vertical distance?
Best regards,
Tuan Le
Hi Tuan,
Yes Gemometry maps can be used IF you only need one pattern to apply to all types of views. If you'd like to use a different pattern depending on the view (maybe the "realistic" tile/brick layout on architectural and some kind of hatch for schematic view) then it cannot be achieved as far as I know.
Hi Tuan Le, I have the same issue. Can you elaborate how did you manage to use Geometry Mapping for forward view element? is there an online material I can browse/study? Thanks.
Sorry for the delay response Crisanto. You can refer to the wiki below for the steps. It's for OpenBuilding, but the principle is the same. You define a material with geometry map which using a pattern cell of your choosing. Then assign the material to the elements.
