Change View Rotation is an important tool. Re-introduced sometime for CE but not fully integrated. It performs like a macro that does not get updates about what the View is doing. Unhelpfully, the View Prev / Next buffer also does not seem to register changes made by the CVR tool.
View changes generated by the RV=,, command also do not register with View Prev / Next which is a regression?
I've noticed that most of the time View Previous doesn't work at all in OpenRoads for me. I'm on the latest CE 2022 Release 1. It just says "No previous viewing operations" no matter what I do.
I am not seeing this in MicroSation, and both Change View Rotation and RV ( Rotate View ) changes are getting reflected with the View Undo Redo tool

Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I don't think it's an OpenRoads problem since it's a MicroStation function. Seems like it doesn't work more times than not when I really want it to.

It does not matter if it is a base function of Microstation. The civil platform team may make changes to the base Microstation but, not relay that change back to the Microstation developers. The developers of the different platforms do not collaborate. You would think that if the civil developers found an issue with the base platform they would have the developers of the base fix it on their end.
That's not the way it works with Bentley & that has been confirmed by a Bentley Rep. So, something in Microstation can work (or not work) different in ORD.
