So I have trying to convert our V8 configuration over the connect and I am seeing a issue that I cannot figure out.
Connect edition seem to be changing the size and stretching of a certain text. I just started using connect so I am trying to determine is there is a setting in the connect version that I need to change to stop it from doing this.
The font is a true type font called TechnicLite.

I am not able to reproduce this having created a file in V8i SS10 and opening in CONNECT Update 17. text V8i vs CONNECT.dgn
Do you know which version the file had been create in? May be you can post a sample file illustrating the issue for review
Was anything reported in the Message Center when opening the file in CONNECT Edition?
It might be related to Intercharacter spacing, was the Text placed using a Text Style and is this Style available in CONNECT? (Open the Text Styles dialog, select the Style followed by the 'Spacing' tab to check for differences)
You also mention "stretching of a certain text" suggesting not all text is being stretched, if you compare the Properties of those affected with those not, are there any differences? also Is the text affected part of a cell?
Be advised, this issue was resolved via SR 7001477959.Setting the configuration variable MS_80TRUETYPESCALE = 1 in the configuration resolved the issue.An example solution can be found here.
