When loading Civtools Microstation freezes. Any ideas on a fix?

I am using Microstation V8i SELECTseries 10

Version 08.11.09.919

When I load Civtools the Message Center will say "Civtools loaded" But then I am unable to click on anything else, I eventually have to task manager > end task on microstation to be able to restart.

The only fix I have tried is I redownloaded Civtools but that did not work.

This is happening to other people in my office as well.

    Unfortunately, the prerequisite pack is no longer available for download from the Software Downloads portal as v8i is no longer supported by Bentley.

    You might try repairing your MicroStation installation via the Windows Apps & Features section while connected to a stable internet connection:

    Another thing to try would be to uninstall and then reinstall MicroStation via deployment image. I believe that a properly configured deployment image will include the prereq pack and will not need an internet connection.

    A Deployment Guide can be found in the Readme documentation. For v8i SS10, it will be located here:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries)\MicroStation\readme_MicroStation.chm

You can also include the Prerequisites for Bentley Desktop Applications in the deployment image. For more information on creating a deployment image, see the Deployment Guide.
