Copy parallel with "portion of element" is not working

Question

Hi, 
 I have an issue with copy parallel by using "portion of element" in order to offset one line (referred by other file to this file) 
 Nothing was offset when I click the first point and second point? 
 How can I fix my issue?

Ok, if I attach a file into that Seed.dgn, which contains known line elements that work with the portion setting of the copy parallel command when referenced, I notice the following: 
 
 The dynamics display after the 1st data points is absent 
 After the 2nd data point, the portion is also not dynamically shown offset, either from distance or mouse movement 
 After the 3rd data point, no element is written to the design file. 
 
 I think it's s probably safe to say that your Seed file has some kind of corruption and that this isn't a CONNECT regression, as I see this in V8i SS10.
