I wonder what is the correct procedure to convert Acad patterns to Microstation cells?
I have a fairly large set of Autocad sample patterns which I would like to convert to Microstation cells in order to use them as Microstation patterns but the sample patterns are associated with boundary shapes and they will just disapper when I drop the boudary shape around them. It feels like wasting my time to re-draw each element from a scratch.
the left column ones I recognise from default acad patterns they just use a different colour, the first one right hand side top appears to be a custom one from an acad user, and as mary pointed out you can just point to your autocad folder to use them if you have autocad, there are some default common acad ones in microstation by default... you may be able to contact the acad drafter and ask for a copy of the pat file.. but alot of the acad pat file content is propriety to autodesk but if its home made by your acad user / company you can get it and add it to your custom library...hope that helps
