I hope it will be evaluated as the bug, because original V8i behavior makes better sense to me: When reference file is attached, it likely to be modified further (clipped or whatever else), so without the selection, it must be found and selected.

Thank you David for testing it out also.

And yes, I just tested what you noticed and its the same for me; if I close the reference dialog and reopen it has the ref selected.

Tested out myself and can replicate the behavior. Can confirm there is no setting for this. Will have to ask development if this is working as designed or if this is a bug. I noticed if I close the reference dialog and reopen it has the ref selected.

Hi Tommy,

if you think it is bug, create Service Request to ensure the issue is logged.

If you treat the issue more like "nice to have", post it as new Idea.

P.S. Please follow the best practices and always specify used product including its exact version. There are many "Connect" (which is not "Connect", but "CONNECT Edition", or just "CE") versions, and often it is crucial to know what version is discussed.
