I want to place a normal cell and associate the new cell with another element. The Association box (If on, lets you associate cells to elements in the model) is checked.
However, when I place the cell I don't see any prompt to create the association with another element. That is, the place cell tool just places a cell. It never asks for the associated element. Whether that check box is on or off, the tool works the same way.
You need to snap to the element you wish to associate to.

What about lost association? It displays with different linestyle, as with dimensions that have broken association. But the "Reassociate dimension" does not work on a cell.
Is there another tool that does the same for cells?Is it possible to remove the association so that it becomes a "singular" cell again?
