Per the recent "Digital Currency" newsletter issued by Bentely - 13 October 2022. there was an article about Bentley Configuration Explorer and its availability.
i have downloaded this and looking to use it, however it appears that you can only run the configuration review against workspaces / worksets within the standard Bentley deploy location - C:\ProgramData\Bentley\MicroStation CONNECT Edition\Configuration\WorkSpaces.
How do you get this to work for a configured location outside of the standard delivery location ? or is this not possible ?
Many companies run their configurations outside of the above location so would make sense that you could navigate to this location within the Configuration Explorer tool
Bug# 657845 and #657817 have been filed to address this issue.

the "configuration explorer" uses the " ConfigurationSetup.cfg" located in ...ProgramData/.... configuration;
now with MSu17 there is a possibility to use several configurations - the configuration explorer can NOT handle this - an update is neededis this update planned and when could a working version be distributed?
we sure need this tool to handle with configuration variables
