Just to note that although many users would like to work with the various Cloud Based services such as Google Drive they have not been 'certified' for use as they would not follow the requirements for a live link for saving modifications to design files.
MicroStation Accessing Files Stored on Cloud-Base Drives
We would recommend the use of Bentley's Projectwise Drive for this type of cloud-based operation.

My understanding of Projectwise Drive is that its just another front end app to Projectwise. A firm of 5 or less users, like mine, cannot justify the cost of Projectwise. I have been asking for a Bentley version of OneDrive or Google Drive for years. All I want is a small firm solution that is supported by Bentley that is affordable.

There still is "ProjectWise Share" included with SELECT which allows to use Google Drive/Onedrive similar cloud storage and sync up to 50GB. Have you tried it? Naming is confusing as it is not really Projectwise.
Hi Oto, I have never heard of ProjectWise Share, other then the share sync feature of ProjectWise. Where can I find more info on what you are referring to?
Just read the link I provided. It is included in Connection client. You set the sync folder in settings and then everything copied there is synced to Bentley cloud. Default location is %userprofile%\ProjectWise Share
Previously it was called Bentley share and it has nothing to do with Projectwise. Bentley again confuses their users.
Hi Oto, I have been reading up and testing Projectwise share. It may serve as a viable option for us to use. In my testing, I keep getting "There was a failure while synchronizing project" error.
When I copy a project folder with files under it to the local Projectwise share folder, and hit the sync now button, I get the error.
It seems to eventually sync if I copy one file at a time.
I have check the limitations and I'm not over any of the limits from what I can tell. I cannot find any way to check like a log or error msg to know why it is failing?
CC client logs are here - %LocalAppData%\Bentley\Logs
