are you using full acrobat pro and so does the signer?

I thought it only produces a holding field and only the digital sgniature owner ie the engineer project manager could then open in pdf and add their signature... I do this when I get pdf contracts to sign for work as I registered my micros soft digital signature years ago, and also in adobe acrobat I have created a digital signature that only I have in adobe reader but only on my pc... but for drawings at work we have used the special permissions of the owner of signatures to use bluebeam review and lets the engineer once he is satisfied to bulk sign digitally the pdf set.... not thru microstation.. and IMHO this works extremally well and saves a lot of time and money not mention its great review and markup process... QA people just loose their minds and walk around drooling when they see this package in use....

Hi, has anyone gotten this to work?: Digital Signature Fields (Bentley.com) I can't seem to get it to work when creating manual PDF's using a regular Bentley Driver pdf.pltcfg file. I've tried loading a Design Script File (dscript or .pen) and drew a line (mstn type 3) on level 1 and color 9 but it won't insert the digital signature field. I've attached a copy of the design script (copied from Bentley site) and a screen shot of the properties of the line in the file. Really not sure what I am missing here?

this solution still need a full version of a pdf editing tool like acrobat pro... your company probably already has this or the would be best served by purchasing Blue Beam review...loads more features...and batch tools too....

It sounds like Digital Signature Fields (bentley.com) might be what you're looking for.

I dont think this is possible in plain microstation maybe with a custom vba , but at my old work we use blue beam review and create multiple page pdf and then use the tool in blue beam to create/ place the electronic signature bit at the same spot on one page and it then automatically then puts the same signature in all the other pages...
