A great number of these features have been adapted into MicroStation, or are available with various settings or tools. If you search this board you will find plenty of posts about this exact sort of thing.

There are more, but you may want to do your own search for what you are specifically looking for.

That may be so, but surely those who want Civil Tools would appreciate 'various settings or tools' being available from a single menu?
Let's applaud Bentley Systems staffer Karol Kempski for asking MicroStation users what they want!

Very good point!
It appears that we can only vote for one option, while there are several that I might like to see for certain situations.
Karol - would you be able to adjust your poll to allow multiple selections? And my apologies - I was unaware that you were with Bentley. I see questions like this from regular users, so my first instinct was to point you to help.
I voted for place coordinate because it is the tool that I miss the most but if i were to rank them from my most wanted to least the list would go
1. Place Coordinate (There is not even a half decent work around for this one, what used to take 2 clicks now is atleast the following click label point coordinate > click the text > crtl-x > place note > ctrl-v > backspace a few times to delete the z elevation line > click where the leader goes > click where the text goes )
2. Label Contour
3. Place Contour
4. Set Elevation by Crossing
5. Place Break Line
6. Place Spot Elevation
7. Place Composite Curve (Never used this one)
8. Modify Contour (This already exists)
9. Civtools settings (do not know why this was a choice lol)
